This is the web page of the courses L.EQ032 – Physics II and L.EA010 – Physics II.

Objectives

In this course you will learn the foundations of electromagnetism and the theory of circuits. You will also learn to use instruments for electric measurements and increase your experience in solving physics problems. After taking this course you should be able to describe the main electromagnetic phenomena, analyze direct-current circuits and do measurements in electric circuits.

Program

  1. Electric force. Electric field. Electrostatic potential.
  2. Electrostatic energy and capacitance.
  3. Electromotive force. Current and resistance. Direct-current circuits.
  4. Magnetic force. Magnetic field. Electromagnetic induction.
  5. Electromagnetic waves.
